Colruyt Group's CEO had a question : What should stores look like in 2040, when everything is available online?
the Markitects worked as part of the Corporate Marketing Department and were great support in helping to define a futureproof footprint vision for the Colruyt Group, across its various divisions and brands.
They were able to translate consumer and societal trends into concrete opportunities and disruptive ideas for diverse sectors in which the group is active. Their fresh outsiders' B2C angle was useful to stimulate rich debate by challenging current industry codes and practices.
Their multi-sector experience also helped identifying network effects that can differentiate the Colruyt ecosystem in a world where the online consumer is spoiled and the whole concept of Retail needs to be reinvented to keep attracting people to its stores.
